Description:

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse in our 15 bed Level 3 NICU facilitates relationship-centered, compassionate, quality care to patients through competent clinical practice and the application of the healing art and science of professional nursing. Optimizes health and healing, preventing or resolving illness, disability or injury, alleviation of suffering, and advocacy in the care of individuals in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams of health care providers, family members, and support systems. Exercises independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with current ANA and specialty specific (e.g. AACN, AWHONN etc.) Standards of Professional Nursing Practice, institutional policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.

What Registered Nurse, RN will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.

  • In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire

  • Licensed in the State of Michigan

  • 1 years of experience as an RN required must be willing to obtain the appropriate ED certifications within 1 year of experience.

  • NICU experienced required

What you will work:

  • Per diem

  • 48 hours per month (Minimum monthly commitment ) w/ 16 hours per month on the weekend

  • 1 holiday shift a year
