Wage: *A minimum of *$24.27 hourly rate, which equals $50,478.86 annual salary. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package.

Psychiatric Stabilization Clinic Coordinator

We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others. 

We are seeking* a Psychiatric Stabilization Clinic Coordinator* to provide support to clients in our Psychiatric Stabilization Clinic (PSC). This position works as part of a multi-disciplinary team that providers brief and urgent care to those who require mental health intervention. The clinic coordinator is responsible for daily chart prep, discharge planning, insurance authorization, screenings, and referral services. 

*This position is Monday -- Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. No weekends, no on-call rotation, and no holidays requirements.  *

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work.  Licensed in the State of Michigan as a full licensed or limited licensed bachelor's social worker OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within 3 months of hire.
  • At least one year of satisfactory work experience providing services to individuals with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities or substance use disorders
  • Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment 
  • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
  • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills
  • Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities

     

*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: *

  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
  • Full Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed bachelor's social worker.
  • Three years post undergraduate experience working with individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
  • Spanish Speaking
