We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.

We are seeking a Crisis Center Recovery Coach / Peer Support Specialist to work as part of a multidisciplinary team-based service. This role will provide interventions for clients experiencing a behavioral health crisis and assist clients in understanding and accessing substance use disorder services. The Recovery Coach will model competency in recovery and demonstrate on-going coping skills. This will occur in the context of the Crisis Center, which includes a Brief Intervention Clinic and Crisis Stabilization Unit.

Network 180's Behavioral Health Crisis Center is a 24/7 facility that serves adults 18 years and older and includes a walk-in Brief Intervention Clinic and a secure Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). The setting provides assessment and unscheduled clinical services designed to prevent or resolve mental health or substance-related crises. The CSU fills a key gap in the Kent County Crisis Continuum of Care and provides more efficient, effective, equitable crisis behavioral health care in a setting designed and staffed to provide this type of treatment.

The CSU also aims to divert individuals from jail, emergency departments, and inpatient psychiatric hospital settings to an appropriate least restrictive treatment setting whenever it can be achieved safely and successfully.
