Join our Smart Infrastructure (SI) team as our Focus Factory Controller to help us provide valuable and outstanding business services to our customers! The successful candidate will add value by ensuring the commercial success of the plant, driving financial accuracy and integrity, actively engaging in design, implementation and adherence to internal controls, reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, monitoring and adherence to KPI’s of the Energy Products (EP) Manufacturing Plant located in Grand Prairie, TX .

This is a hybrid position so the chosen candidate will be able to work from home 2-3 days a week.

You will make an impact:

This position will report to the Plant Controller and will interact on a regular basis with business segment as well as operational senior management:

  • Be part of the leadership team and commercial partner to operations while managing commercial activities and drive commercial success of the plant.

  • Help define long term strategic targets and drive implementation by breaking them into achievable short-term objectives in a highly dynamic environment.

  • Own aspects of planning, controlling, accounting and reporting activities of the plant including EVA, Gross Profit, Investments, NWC

  • Manage the month-end closing process including preparation of journal entries for revenue and cost accruals. Analyze results and investigate deviations in detail including any corrective actions. Summarize findings and present to senior management.

  • Manage expansion project from a commercial standpoint including comparisons of business plans as well as functioning as gate keeper.

  • Manage CAPEX projects (partly driven by expansion projects) from conceptualization, approvals, PO, delivery, payment, and capitalization while also evaluating the financial benefits of such projects.

  • Innovate by standardizing and digitalizing existing processes and identify opportunities to develop new KPI’s or reporting that adds business value.

  • Own, ensure and improve internal controls, efficiency and FC accuracy.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualification:

  • BS in Accounting, Finance.

  • 4 + years of proven experience in Finance, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment

  • In depth knowledge of SAP (FI/CO).

  • Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI and Knime is beneficial.

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting process.

  • Experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor developing and leading teams/individuals.

  • The pay range for this position is $108,850 - $186,600 and comes with a 10% incentive compensation. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
