Meadow Gold Dairy has immediate job openings for dependable Full Time CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently and manually unload/deliver various Dairy products, to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

OUR TRUCK DRIVERS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE:

SCHEDULE: Wednesday 8am, Friday 2am, Saturday 2am (Full Time)

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices

  • Verify shipment accuracy and ensure saleable condition of product

  • Transact proper documentation in computerized hand-held device or paper

  • Load/unload trucks

  • Resolve discrepancies and communicate issues to supervisor

  • Report delivery delays to management due to road conditions, accidents or breakdowns. Report any moving violations to management immediately

  • Inspect equipment according to company and DOT regulations (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, load bars, lift gates)

  • Complete all daily DOT and customer paperwork including delivery tickets, pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, and vehicle service reports

  • Ensure and/or perform proper maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment used (tires, fuel, oil check, etc.) and maintain a clean vehicle

  • Stock and/or rotate product in warehouse where required

  • Attend all driver workshops and training sessions

  • Use company supported applications or systems properly

  • Represent DFA positively and professionally at all times during interactions with customers or other individuals

Requirements

  • 6 months related experience preferred

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record

  • 21+ years of age

  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks)

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English

  • Ability to push, pull, & lift to 55 lbs.

  • Flexibility – overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
