Position Title:
High School Summer School APEX/Credit Recovery Teacher
Anticipated Employment Date:
July 7 - August 22, 2025
Anticipated Work Location/Hours:
High School, Mon - Thurs 7:45 AM- 12:30 PM (ending or starting time may vary depending on class schedule)
Salary:
$37.00/hour
Duties:
Position contingent on budget approval in May and sufficient course requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid NYS Teaching Certification for English 7-12
Prior teaching experience in English 9, 10 and 11 desired. Student teaching experience will be considered.
Develop lessons and provide instruction for designated subjects to students taking the course for credit recovery.
Administer, score and document student work and assessments.
Maintain records and conduct necessary communication with students, parents and summer school administrators.
Prepare students to take the associated Regents exam, if applicable to the course.
