Trinity Health Sterile Processing Tech - Casual in Grand Haven, Michigan

Description:

Sterile Processing Tech responsible for decontamination and sterilizing instruments, medical supplies and equipment. They monitor biological and chemical wash solution to ensure quality and consistence for decontamination process.

Job Status : Casual

What you will do:

  • Reprocesses surgical and other hospital department instruments.

  • Wraps trays according to standards

  • Load and operates sterilizers and high level disinfectors.

  • Practices infection control measures

What you will need:

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Previous experience in hospital central processing department or operating room

  • Completion of an accredited Central Processing Technician program

  • Maintains certification as a Certified Central Processing Technician

  • Ability to multi-task and keep area organized.
