As Account Manager within Neurology you will manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts focusing on our products for Chronic Migraine. You collaborate and build strong customer relationships and customer needs solving capability to maximize short- and long-term sales performance, always placing the patient in the center in accordance with AbbVie’s values and guiding principles. You will be responsible for all commercial planning and activities in the defined territory to grow the neurology business and establish strong leadership for our products.

The AM is part of the cross-functional In-Field Team consisting of Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Public- and External Affairs among other functions. You will in close collaboration with your peers drive and execute brand strategies, implement tactics, drive sales performance, and set strong account plans. This position reports to Sales Manager Scandinavia.

This position is based in district VGR/Gothenburg.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position you have a strong business acumen and preferably some prior experience from project management and sales within the industry of pharmaceuticals.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Degree in Healthcare, Business and/or Scientific

  • Experience and track record from account management OR recently graduated in the healthcare field and want to grow into an account management position.

  • Knowledge of Swedish Healthcare system (organization, funding, regulation etc)

  • Prior experience driving project towards the health care sector 

  • Excellent Swedish and English language skills, both verbally and in writing.

If you have therapeutical area knowledge within the area of Neuroscience that is an advantage for this position but not a requirement. We think you are Certified Medical Sales Representative (LIF), but if not, this is something we will support you with.

Personal skills:

We are seeking a team player who has the ability to work well in cross-functional teams. You are a strong relationship builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. To be successful in this role you have a strategic business development focus and are action-oriented. You should be able to organize and execute tasks independently, be flexible to change and self-driven. Good scientific knowledge and the ability to learn is important for us.

Additional Information

This is a field-based commercial position requiring extensive travel, mostly within the territory/Sweden. We would like the candidate to be based in VGR/Gothenburg.
