Robert Half Office Assistant in Goose Creek, South Carolina

Description We are seeking an Office Assistant to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry in Goose Creek, South Carolina. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Familiarize yourself with the master covenants and restrictions of properties

• Conduct routine and regular inspections of properties

• Research files based on the pictures taken to ensure no violations are missed

• Follow up on ARB violations until resolution

• Prepare detailed reports on specific property addresses when requested

• Work closely and calmly with homeowners about any violations or complaints

• Escalate matters to the Community Manager when necessary

• Assist in other departments when requested by the Community Manager

• Maintain Accurate and Up to Date Member List by keeping Association Computer Software up to date

• Organize Monthly, Special and Annual Board Meetings: Prepare and disseminate Call to Meeting, Reserve the meeting room and have it set up

• Return phone calls, e-mails, messages and letters within one working day

• Assist in all mass mailings

• Keep Board members, committee members, up to date

• Update Contracts and Forms as needed & keep electronic files up to date

• Enter member payments into Avgar AR Software

• Provide Back-up for Payroll processing. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in office functions and performing clerical duties

• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, phone operations, and phone messages

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a business school will be considered a plus

• Previous experience in a similar role in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry would be advantageous.
