Job Title: Material Coordinator

Job Description

As a Material Coordinator, you will learn the storage plan and engage in various warehousing activities.

Your responsibilities will include verifying materials against receiving documents, noting discrepancies and damages, and routing materials to prescribed storage locations. You will also be in charge of storing, stacking, or palletizing materials according to prescribed methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials for deterioration and damage, and removing material from storage to prepare it for shipment. Additionally, you will identify items required per load, inventory, account for required quantities, and prepare items for loading. Occasionally, you may operate hand or power trucks to fulfill warehousing duties.

Work Environment

Military Installation - Naval Weapons Station, Joint Base Charleston, Air Force Side. Warehouse type environment. Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday with overtime Friday/weekends as needed.
