National Sports Center For The Disabled Development Manager in Golden, Colorado

The job duties of this position are performed personally, in cooperation with your supervisor, and/or in coordination with other staff. Additional work functions and duties may be assigned.

Corporate Partnerships Serve as the primary contact and relationship manager for corporate partners and sponsorships. Work collaboratively with the Development & Marketing Director and other leadership to create, implement, and manage comprehensive fundraising plans and budgets to support the corporate revenue stream. Identify and secure corporate sponsorships and support for special events and/or identifying viable third-party events and fundraising efforts. Lead portfolio management for new and existing corporate partners, including prospect identification, research, outreach, engagement, stewardship, and management of the corporate recognition framework. Lead and grow external workplace giving programs that benefit the NSCD and find new workplace and matching gift partnerships through employee engagement, including presenting to employees of corporate partners. Represent the NSCD in community networking, outreach, fundraisers, and corporate gift acknowledgement events. Special Events Manage implementation of all NSCD major fundraising events in collaboration with the Development Team. Anticipate four major events per calendar year in addition to other NSCD third party fundraising events. Prepare and monitor a budget for each event with expectations of meeting/exceeding revenue and reducing/maintaining expenses to achieve budget success. Coordinate the design/production of event materials: web pages, invitations, programs, brochures, posters, etc. Responsible for an annual master plan outlining the objectives and timeframe for each event, including schedule of committee meetings and key organizational deadlines. Responsible for silent and live auction management utilizing event bidding software (i.e.: QGiv). Create and implement auction solicitation strategy and direct any volunteers/interns involved in the process of securing auction items. Provide excellent customer service to sponsors and guests by providing an exceptional experience with true hospitality. Coordinate with Development & Marketing team to develop a timeline and implementation of event related promotional materials and NSCD branding at each special event.

Grant & Appeal Writing Maintain a detailed grant calendar to track application deadlines, reporting requirements, and other key milestones. Prepare high-quality, compelling grant proposals and applications that align with the NSCD's mission, programs, and strategic priorities. Tailor proposals to meet the specific guidelines and requirements of each funding source. Oversee the management of awarded grants, ensuring compliance with all funding requirements and timely submission of reports. Assist in the development and monitoring of grant budgets, ensuring proper allocation and use of funds. Assist in writing annual fundraising appeals for online and direct mail efforts as needed.

Skills & Qualifications Hold a passion for NSCD's mission and values. Bachelor's degree in business, non-profit management, communications, marketing, or equivalent. At least four years of nonprofit fundraising experience with a focus on corporate partnerships, special events, and grant writing. Proven track record of securing significant funding for a nonprofit organization. Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Bloomerang or similar donor database software, and Peer to Peer and auction management/bidding softwa Ability to develop compelling narratives and articulate the impact of NSCD's work Strategic thinker who communicates professionally and effectively with diverse staff, volunteers, donors, prospects, and community stakeholders. Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, initiative and exercise personal judgment in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of humor and integrity. Ability to implement agency vision, mission, values and strategic plan. Candidates must possess a Colorado driver's license, meet background check criteria and criteria regarding clearance to drive NSCD vehicles
