Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Process Automation Engineer to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of automation solutions across our manufacturing and industrial processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and robotics, and will play a key role in our digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automation System Design and Implementation:
  • Design, develop, and implement automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and robotics.

  • Integrate automation solutions with IT and OT systems to ensure seamless operation and data flow.

  1. System Integration and Interoperability:
  • Ensure interoperability between automation systems and enterprise systems such as MES, ERP, and cloud platforms.

  • Develop and maintain integration interfaces and communication protocols.

  1. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Oversee the maintenance of automation systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.

  1. Process Optimization:
  • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.

  • Implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and increase productivity.

  1. Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with IT-OT Integration Specialists, Cloud Engineers, and Data Scientists/Analysts to support integration and data analytics initiatives.

  • Provide technical support and expertise for various automation projects and initiatives.

  1. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
  • Stay updated with emerging automation technologies and best practices.

  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative automation solutions and optimizing existing systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process automation, system integration, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial robotics, and other automation technologies.

  • Experience with programming languages used in automation (e.g., ladder logic, structured text, Python).

  • Proficiency with integration tools and communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
