Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Manager for Digital Transformation & Industry 4.0 to lead and manage our digitalization and smart manufacturing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, IT-OT integration, and project management with proven expertise in implementing Industry 4.0 solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Strategy:
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with organizational goals.

  • Manage cross-functional teams to drive successful implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives, smart automation, and digitalization projects.

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Greenfield and Brownfield projects from inception to completion.

  1. Digitalization & Industry 4.0:
  • Implement smart factory technologies including IoT, autonomous robots, digital twins, and augmented reality.

  • Drive initiatives for process automation, data analytics, and predictive maintenance.

  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency.

  1. IT-OT Integration:
  • Manage IT-OT infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration of MES, SAP, and other enterprise systems.

  • Oversee the development and deployment of IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud solutions.

  • Ensure cybersecurity and data privacy compliance across digital platforms.

  1. Project Management:
  • Lead multiple projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

  • Manage capital expenditure planning (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx).

  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for complex projects.

  1. Operational Excellence:
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and shop floor operations.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation and control plans.

  1. Team Management & Collaboration:
  • Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to benchmark and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Over 15 years of professional experience in manufacturing, digital transformation, and project management.

  • Extensive experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and smart factory implementations.

  • Strong background in IT-OT integration, MES, SAP, and cybersecurity.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale Greenfield and Brownfield projects.

  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous process improvement.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

  • International project exposure and ability to work in a global environment is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Automation Tools (RPA, BI, MI, AI).

  • Knowledge of IoT, RFID, BLE, and sensor networks.

  • Experience with cloud computing, data lakes, and data warehousing.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, JIRA, and other project management tools.

  • Proficiency in CNC and PLC programming, SCADA systems, and robotics.
