JOB TITLE: Adult Education ELL Instructor Globe
Up to 19 hours per week
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties & responsibilities may be\ assigned.)
Develop ESL program implementing 2025 AZ State Standards, including\ recruiting new students
Plan and teach lessons to help students gain the knowledge and skills\ needed to achieve higher English proficiency to support students higher\ education credentials or earn their high school equivalency credential.
Implement lesson plans utilizing Burlington English software.
Adapt teaching methods and instructional strategies based on proficiency\ levels and needs of students
Emphasize skills that will help students find jobs, such as learning English\ words and common phrases used in the workplace
Monitor student progress via proctored digital testing
Attend monthly staff zoom meetings and present ELL program data to\ peer group
Present career and educational pathway information to qualifying\ students
Assist in the identification of resources for recruitment and retention of\ participants via networking and ADE Pipeline career counseling program
Track and maintain all required documentation (attendance, testing\ results, outcomes, releases and achievements, etc.) in student files
Participate in weekly meetings with immediate supervisor
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Education or related field
Able to obtain or currently holds an AZ Adult Education Certificate
Compensation determined by experience
