Job Description

SUMMARY

IFF is growing and we are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Animal Nutrition, Health & Bioscience team as Technical Sales Manager, Philippines.

As Technical Sales Manager, Philippines, you will be driving the technical service in deployment of nutrition & health solutions and related services within the territory.

Your Focus

Champion implementation of nutrition & GIT health solutions based on guidance from the Regional Technical Service Manager and thus enable delivering the business goals for the territory.

You will be working collaboratively across commercial and strategic marketing team in the region. The role is based in Philippines and reporting to the SEA Sales Director, Animal Nutrition & Health.

How You Will Contribute

  • Provide first level technical service support to Key Accounts and customers, including training to distributors sales team and on-site technical service especially in nutritional health area in support of the achievement of the business goals.

  • To actively participate in the Regional Sales, Technical & Marketing teams to ensure compliances on products and services offered.

  • Building a strong mindshare for IFF Nutritional Health solutions in feed, farm & integrated segments by participating/organizing/presenting in local Events & seminars

  • Establish strong company profiles and brand building in Nutrition & health space in the industry by actively engaging research institutes, opinion leaders & industry associations

  • Competence of sales team & distributors in technical/product knowledge and generate value of our offerings.

  • Deliver effective technical service programs to multiple stakeholders such as nutritionists, feed formulators, feedmill operations, quality, live production, vet operations at customers.

  • Review internal and external technical materials and prepare reports, presentations & summaries for efficient customers project support and seminars

  • Be part of a strong Regional & global marketing/technical/application network support groups with strong collaboration & coordination on technical and market information.

  • Customer satisfaction, both internal as well as external (distributors and end customers).

  • Understand market trends & key customer needs & provide annual market analysis to identify new opportunities & proactive in supporting development projects.

  • Proactively update competitive landscape and Market intelligence.

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful

  • Master/ PhD Degree in Animal Nutrition/Microbiology/ Animal Health/Animal Science or related field.

  • More than 8-10 years industrial experience in animal production or technical service role in Nutrition & health solutions with strong applied background. Core knowledge in poultry and pig.

  • Work experience in similar feed additive industry environment & animal feed production is desirable.

  • Excellent track record of building strong customer relationships in Feed & Animal Health market

  • Willingness to travel more than 50% of working time.

  • Ability to engage technical team across levels at customer organizations.

  • Ability to impart product and technical knowledge to sales team & distributors to develop and sustain value extraction mindset and work closely with them to identify customer pain points and challenges

  • Effective in delivering technical service programs & ability to develop technical and commercial trial protocols to deliver the differentiation of our solutions in Nutrition & Health area.

  • Proactive and resilient under challenging situations with strong service aptitude.

  • Effective interpersonal skills & team player. Possess open mind with good collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders (external and internal)

  • Strong in planning & execution with attention to details in performing tasks and change focus as demands change.

  • Strong listening & problem-solving skills with keen interest in understanding underlying issues & deploy solutions via consultative approach.

  • Effective presenter with creation of contents and concepts for targeted audience either one on one or in front of larger audience

  • Self-motivated - Initiates appropriate actions and follows through without prompting or close supervision.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
