V2X Fleet Management Analysis Technician in Saint Helena,

The Fleet Management Analysis Technician reports to the Vehicle Management Superintenden t . Responsible for Oversight of the Fleet Management Operators, and equipment assigned to the Ascension Island Operations , along with providing oversight of the vehicle operations . Responsible to verify all equipment operators are properly licensed for the equipment they are assigned to operate and conduct refresher training as needed. Provide daily and verifies accuracy of the GFE AND Leased Equipment Status Report for CDRL submissions.

This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

  • Performs daily supervisory tasks covering all the employment and employee services activities.

  • Ensure the daily missions are briefed, understood, and implemented.

  • Responsible for tracking and scheduling transportation and FMAT taskings and mission support requirements

  • Conduct routine checks of the FMAT ensure drivers and operators are complying with safety and environmental policies and procedures .

  • Ensure Preventive Maintenance Checklist are provided and readily available for all equipment.

  • Oversee the execution of the overall daily FMAT . Ensure current vehicle services and maximum utilization of equipment usage. Track miles / kilometers and hours used for each piece of equipment.

  • Coordinate with the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) to place work orders for equipment repair and receive and report status and updates on all equipment in repair.

  • Provide the Senior Retrograde Manager with a Daily Equipment Status Report. (Fully Mission Capable (FMC) and Non- Mission Capable (NMC).

  • Respond to emergencies and accidents. Assists in accident investigation to help determine cause and reports findings to appropriate safety and management personnel as required .

  • Develops and prepares training materials for training classes.

  • Responsible for prioritizing missions.

  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and staged IAW with Company and USG regulations.

  • Assist with disciplinary action when appropriate Job duties as assigned.

    Material & Equipment Directly Used:

  • May be exposed to potentially hazardous conditions that require wear of hard hats, gloves, steel toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses and other personal protection equipment (PPE); may be required to push, pull, and lift heavy equipment.

  • Use of cell phones to maintain contact and accountability of work activities.

    Working Environment:

  • The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.

  • The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.

    Physical Activities:

  • Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.

  • Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces. This factor is important if the amount of balancing exceeds that needed for ordinary locomotion and maintenance of body equilibrium.

  • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles.

Qualifications

Education Requirement:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Certification Requirements:

  • Valid US Driver's License.

  • Valid Heavy Duty - Driver's License.

  • Must be CAC Eligible.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance.

    Experience:

  • Five (5) years of experience in fleet management.

  • Two (2) years of commercial driving experience.

  • Three (3) years of experience as a supervisor.

    Other Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload is required .

  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required .

  • Advanced ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form, is required .

  • High-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed and accurate, is required .

  • Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and ALL Microsoft applications is required .

    Skills & Technology Used:

  • Must have working knowledge of Retrograde / Logistical Operations

  • Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and storage requirements to meet compatibility of products based on hazard class is required .

  • Leadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor, are required .

  • Strong interpersonal skills are required .

  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgement is required .

  • Ability to prioritized responsibilities to handle a demanding workload is required .

  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required .
