Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of Azure cloud services, which includes but is not limited to services such as NIA APIM, Logic Apps and Cognitive Search. Manage APIs and policies within those APIM environments ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud applications and services using Azure. Ensure smooth integration with on-premises systems.

  • Implement and manage infrastructure using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Azure environments for cost and performance.

  • Ensure that Azure solutions comply with organizational security policies and industry standards.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and application development, to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for Azure environments and provide training to team members and stakeholders. Produce different architecture views such as application architecture diagrams, deployment diagrams, sequence diagrams, dataflow diagrams, etc.

  • Utilize Microsoft Graph API and the specific permissions needed to execute its various methods.

  • Analyze current processes and recommend efficiencies in current processes

  • Develop solution/approach presentations for enterprise initiatives, develop prototypes for proof of concepts

  • Hands on technologist with intellectual curiosity who can d esign and configure rules and flows and assist with the draft user interface and draft process flow development.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT management, particularly with cloud services and Azure.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Azure services, including Logic Apps, Azure API Mgmt, and Cognitive Search.

  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Active Directory (AAD), and Azure DevOps.

  • Understanding of cloud architecture, security, and best practices.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, R, C#, jQuery, MS SQL) for automation.

  • Knowledge of standard industry API protocols and the data formats they use, such as

  • SOAP, JSON, XML, REST and WebAPI.

  • Knowledge of network configuration and identity management in a cloud environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines and resources.

  • Dedication to achieving outstanding customer results

  • A team-oriented drive and a demonstrated ability to lead by example

  • Experience in understanding business needs, and solving complex problems

  • Flexibility to work with teams, individuals, executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people

    Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology or a related field

  • Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Azure DevOps Engineer) required.

    Clearance:

  • The ability to obtain a government moderate background security clearance or Public Trust

    Pay Range:

  • The pay for this position ranges from $90,000 to 110,000.

  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
