Red Room Design Architectural Designer in Glenwood Springs, Colorado
JOB LOCATION: 1001 Grand Avenue, Suite 103; Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
PERFORM THE FOLLOWING JOB DUTIES:
An Architectural Designer with our organization performs the following professional duties: 1. Produce drawings, using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD) or building information modeling (BIM), and other drafting devices. Support the development of project design and documentation.
Produce architectural design options using Twin Motion for presentation to senior architect.
Support with onsite documentation by drafting plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects, for residential and commercial development, working from sketches or notes.
Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.
Coordinate drawings between civil engineers, structural engineers, surveyors, and other team members and participate in team meetings to ensure cohesion for the architectural project.
Participate in client meetings to collect information on design preferences and requirements; produce designs to present to clients using Twin Motion.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture, or foreign equivalent degree
MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Coursework in Architectural Computer Usage and Architectural Presentation Techniques
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience with the following tools: Twin Motion.
Travel Requirement. Travel to various anticipated and unanticipated worksites through the United States up to 10% of time
