Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and Program Director, the Wound Care RN will perform the duties of patient care. This person is responsible for treatment, safety, patient care coordination, quality management, and patient, professional, and community education. This RN is also responsible for coordinating clinical services and assuring consistent quality care for patients in the program, working within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and following all Healogics and Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements:

  • Three( 3) years of recent experience as a registered nurse.

  • Two (2) years of wound care, management and/or educator experience within patient care services is preferred.

  • Completion of WOC Nursing Education Program (WOCNEP) accredited by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society (WOCN) is required within one year of hire/transfer.

  • American Heart Association BLS

  • COCN Certification by WOCNB as CWOCN or CWON required within 18 months of hire or transfer.

  • Current California license as a Registered Nurse.

  • Education: ADN, BSN preferred.

Pay Range

$23.00 - $23.00 /hour
