Multi-State Health and Safety company is seeking an experienced, hands on Full-Time Accounting Manager to join our team.
Compensation:
Full-Time Salaried position
Salary: $75K - $80K depending on experience
Must be available to work Mon-Fri
Hybrid-Remote position in Glendale, AZ
Key responsibilities of Accounting Manager:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Team Supervision: Lead and Manage an accounting team, assigning tasks, providing training and evaluating performance.
Compliance Assurance: ensure adherence to GAAP and relevant financial regulations.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
Audit Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
Financial Analysis: Interpret financial data to provide insights to strategic decision making
Tax Planning: Assist with tax planning and compliance activities
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Expertise in financial analysis and reporting
Leadership and supervisory skills - must have experience
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel
Ability to travel domestically as needed
Exhibit strong level of motivation and initiative, with proven ability to meet deadlines effectively
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 years experience in accounting roles including 2 years supervisory experience
