We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Law Attorney for a firm in Glen Burnie, MD. This is a temp to perm opportunity and we are very open to junior attorneys looking to grow in their next position!

Our client, a respected law firm specializing in family law, is looking for a skilled Family Law Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in family law and a desire to assist clients through challenging family matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse cases, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, adoption, and domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation and advice to clients in family law cases.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.

• Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, and agreements.

• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.

• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments.

• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.

• Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the MD bar and in good standing.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing family law or adjacent practice group.

• Strong knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and case law.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive and emotionally charged situations with empathy and professionalism.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proven ability to negotiate and advocate effectively for clients.

• High level of integrity and commitment to client confidentiality.
