Description

We are in search of a Controller to join our team in Gig Harbor, Washington. The individual will oversee all accounting functions within the company, manage financial reporting, and assist in the preparation of annual revenue forecasts and operational expense budgets. This role is critical in navigating the company's financial landscape and ensuring its financial health.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions within the company

• Coordinate and manage financial reporting efforts, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Lead the preparation of annual revenue forecasts and related operational expense budgets

• Review and approve vendor invoices and release of approved voucher payments

• Develop and analyze monthly financial reports for accuracy and provide explanations of variances

• Interface with internal teams regarding various internal and external audit requirements

• Analyze and provide support in developing and monitoring the correct Construction Overhead rate for Construction Work in Progress

• Lead the management team in the development and administration of the annual operating revenue and expense budgets

• Analyze Construction Work in Progress (CWIP) for company investment, cash flow and capitalization of asset purposes

• Provide support to the operations, engineering, and accounting team in evaluating AP spend on an ongoing basis

• Monitor cash flow and coordinate with the General Manager on financial matters.

The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $155,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s excellent pension plan (401k with match) and 15 days of paid vacation, 7 days of paid sick leave and 12 paid holidays per calendar year.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Competence in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes
