Job Summary
Daily cleaning and supplying of patient and/or resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, clinic and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services (ES) Department.
Will use cleaning devices; including wet mops, wringers, dusters, commercial vacuum cleaners and other necessary tools, products and supplies.
Works under the general supervision, with work subject to check by the Environmental Services Coordinator.
It is important that employees are regular and consistent in their attendance.
Avera’s responsibility to employees includes a posted schedule be developed based on department needs, staff flexibility, staff requests and FTE requirements.
Employees are responsible for reporting to work on time according to the schedule.
Education and/or Experience
High School Graduate/GED is preferred.
No previous experience required; on-the-job training.
Work Schedule
7:00 am - 3:30 pm as needed; PRN
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.00 - $20.50 per hour
