Job Title: Account Manager (Silicones/Coatings)

• This hybrid position is responsible for developing profitable and sustainable sales growth as well as retaining and growing an assigned portfolio of Release Coating and PSA business in North America.

• The expectation is that this position will quickly learn the Release Coating and PSA Product portfolio, technology, industry and applications to develop deep customer and market intimacy.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Establish and build strong working relationships with key people at assigned customers to ensure the successful sale and development of products to those customers.

  • Determine customers’ unmet needs and translate internally for adequate follow up.

  • Leverage knowledge of markets/products/applications to develop value selling propositions at the account and the ability to triangulate the needs between the end user, customer and Momentive.

  • Negotiate prices and other commercial terms.

  • High commitment to deliver Sales Objectives and Deliver regular (monthly) forecasts and updates/changes to forecast volumes of customers assigned

  • Support the accounts receivable department on payment behavior and financial risk management.

  • Effectively Utilize Momentive CRM (SalesForce) to maintain trip reports, opportunities, and leads.

  • Serve as key liaison between Customer Service and RLC/PSA Commercial team on top 5 accounts as well as samples and trial materials, including NPI’s and managing SFDC samples for PSA/RLC.

  • Lead customer transitions to MyMomentve.Com.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Associates Degree

  • 5 years of commercial/customer service experience

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Valid Driver’s license

  • Valid Passport

  • Willing and Able to travel approximately 25%

The following are Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or a technical discipline (Engineering, Chemistry or similar)

  • Experience in coatings and/or silicone industry.

  • Strategic Thinking and Focus.

  • Strong analytical skills: Both technical and financial

  • Demonstrated experience working in or leading cross-functional / cross-cultural teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Powerpoint, Word

  • Ability to quickly learn new software systems: SAP, SFDC and Arkieva

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb, twist, turn, grasp, and move about the facility. Walking, walking on irregular surfaces, and balancing will be required. Hearing, sight to include depth perception and color vision, and the ability to speak clearly will be required. Occasional lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. and the ability to comply with PPE requirements (ability to pass a fit-test and wear a respirator is required for certain positions/locations).

The environment for this position is a Manufacturing setting, with exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noise. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional business environment. What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $70,700.00 - $103,620.00

The actua l salary offered i s determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill set s, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable . Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
