ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for reviewing and maintaining charge description master (CDM), assigned HCPCS/CPT coding, and/or other pertinent regulations and policies, ensuring all data elements are accurate and comply with all payor requirements.
Identify and resolve charging, coding, or clinical documentation issues along with revenue cycle issues.
Provides validation reviews, audits, documentation and training for the area of knowledge, sharing information with Finance, Medical Records and other revenue producing areas or departments..
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum EducationAssociate’s Degree Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Required SkillsOne of the following certifications are Preferred:Registered Nurse RNLicensed Practical Nurse LPNLicensed Vocational Nurse LVN Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
