How you’ll live your ambition:

As Head of IT Operations Control, you'll join the IT Team at the Company’s Headquarter in Genoa – Italy, reporting to IT Operations Director

You will manage the team and the suppliers responsible to oversee and improve the IT Operations internal Processes in order to stabilize, secure and optimize performance of our Applications and Infrastructures systems, avoiding business disruption shore and ships side.

Demonstrate your passion:

  • You will manage the team and the suppliers responsible to oversee and improve the IT Operations internal Processes in order to stabilize, secure and optimize performance of our Applications and Infrastructures systems, avoiding business disruption shore and ships side

  • You will improve event management process and monitoring tools, and work with the IT Infrastructure delivery team and our suppliers on our environment capacity planning to meet business demands.

  • You will streamline the IT Operations management processes to minimize delays while still maintaining control and oversight, monitoring the performance through SLA and KPI.

  • You will ensure that the Operations processes align with the organization's strategic goals and support its overall business objectives.

How? You will use data and feedback from the incident, problem and change process to identify areas for improvement in IT operations.

You will be manage and supervise the budget for the area.

Safety First

You will overseeing IT security and compliance Operations, and oversee the vulnerability management process, audit controls execution, and maintenance of DR plan technical aspects.

Your innovative thinking and passion for IT systems will lead you to collaborate closely with all parts of the IT Team Operations

What makes you unique:

  • Your path requires previous experience or relevant professional experience (at least 5 years) as IT Service Manager in large companies and multinational context

  • A degree in Computer Engineering or scientific disciplines, or comparable experience

  • Proven management experience of complex IT systems (Infrastructures, Networks, Databases, Applications in cloud and on premise) while respecting constraints.

  • Familiarity with key service management technology solutions (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) as well as ITIL processes (e.g., incident, problem, change management) and monitoring tools

  • Ability to work with inter-functional stakeholders and focus customer’s perspective.

  • As a global citizen, you embrace diversity and communicate fluently in English

  • Sense of responsibility, a structured and analytical way of working as well as the ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
