Boeing Poland Sp. z. o. o is looking for Mid/Senior Software Application Developer (C++) to join our Boeing team in Gdansk!

Join the Atlas team developing modular rendering engine (C2E) along with several other core functionalities int the digital aviation world! Work closely with design, product management and other US development teams to deliver industry leading mobile applications for electronic flight bag solutions like Flite Deck Pro, Aviator or Foreflight. You will become a part of Flite Deck Solutions family working within Digital Aviation Solutions – a software space in Boeing working with amazing range of digital products for aviation related end users (pilots, airlines, cabin crews, airports etc.).

The role offers flexible working options , including hybrid and remote opportunity. We are driven by needs and purpose. After onboarding to the team, effectively setting up environments and getting an ability to execute basic tasks – the need is not greater than 4 days a month, unless there is an emergency. There might be a need to travel to US on top.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality software design based on defined system architecture.

  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle.

  • Have the ability to lead team members through the implementation of requirements.

  • Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.

  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.

  • Review and debug code.

  • Perform validation and verification testing.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.

  • Document development phases and monitor systems.

  • Leads the development, documentation and maintenance of software application architectures across platforms in order to meet customer, functional, and/or regulatory requirements, quality objectives, and constraints specific to the applicable domain and available technology.

Required/Basic qualifications:

  • Willingness to learn new things and own

  • Hungry for knowledge and experience

  • Experience working within an agile team

  • Good English and Polish skills on technical communicational level

  • Solid C++ (preferably 17) knowledge giving the ability to execute tasks on the daily development level

  • Experience in using technologies:Mobile development (mostly iOS but with Win elements), C++, C#, Swift, RUST, Azure.

Preferred qualifications/Nice to have:

  • Graphic rendering experience

  • Aviation/navigation domain knowledge

  • Domain Driven Development

  • AI/ML experience

  • Agile Methods and Practices

  • Analytical Skills (Technical).
