As a Software / Firmware Engineer , your role is to develop our software and firmware stack, add new features and prove the best product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on best-in-class products for the Automotive industry delivered on Intel products

  • Understand and contribute to architecture and high-level design of the next generation of Intel Automotive products

  • Develop software/firmware for Intel Automotive products

  • Integrate Intel FW/SW stack with other components

  • Have a real impact on new features and product architecture

  • Collaborate with many teams worldwide involved in product development and delivery to the customer

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ideally you have 3-4 years of relevant experience in the development of embedded systems (C/C++)

  • Experience in software development C++ Knowledge of multi-threaded programming in C language

  • Experience with RTOS

  • Knowledge of low-level programming, system architecture, and operating systems

  • Good teamwork and cooperation

  • Good English language skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the Automotive industry

  • Experience with Audio DSP systems

  • Experience with Ethernet solutions

  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning algorithms

  • Experience with FPGA / HW / Pre Silicon Environments

  • Knowledge of Hardware Interfaces (I2C, I2S, etc.)

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
