Job Summary

Duties/Responsibilities

– Welcoming and seeing off guests, registering clients upon arrival at the hotel and upon departure. Handing over keys to guests and ensuring that clients know how to get to their stay or that they have all the necessary information.

– Management of reservations and cancellations of said establishment.

– Income management, keeping track of room charges and counting the cash collected.

– Promote the facilities offered by the tourist complex, such as the restaurant, the fitness room and the rest of the hotel's compartments. As well as activities or plans organized by the hotel.

– Perform PMS tasks

– Know Marriott Bonvoy and recognize members as well as the benefits that apply to them.

– Attend and process claims or complaints from guests, including the most serious ones derived from the reception team.

– Manage the schedules of front office team members and always ensure adequate coverage

– Ensure that the reservation process is followed to streamline processes

– Implement and develop plans and strategies to ensure that all team members work consistently and follow procedures.

– Provide reports to hotel management on incidents with clients and in the reception department.

– Have the master key to all hotel rooms and make sure it is not handed over.

– Ensure that all team members receive appropriate health and safety training and respect it in their work environment.

– Ensure that the quality of work is consistent and in line with expectations.

Job Requirements

What do we expect from you?

– Previous demonstrable experience in hospitality as a hotel reception supervisor

– Previous experience in hotels is essential, valuable in the Marriott chain.

– Total time availability and flexibility.

– It is essential to speak Spanish, bilingual Catalan and English at a high level. Other languages ​​valuable.

– Knowledge of operating program – OPERA

– Own vehicle to get to the facilities.

– Good level of communication and attention, you will be the image of the hotel!
