Description We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team in Galveston, Texas. The role involves data entry of times, verification of timesheets, and collaboration with the payroll team. The position also requires proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, ADP Online, Payroll, Payroll - Garnishments, and Process Payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate data entry of time to ensure correct payroll processing

• Verification of timesheets for accuracy and completeness

• Collaboration with the payroll team to ensure efficient processing of payroll

• Utilization of ADP Workforce Now and ADP Online for payroll processing

• Handling of payroll garnishments and ensuring compliance with legal requirements

• Timely processing of payroll in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Maintaining confidentiality of payroll information

• Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries

• Assisting in the preparation of payroll reports for management

• Continual updating and enhancement of payroll skills and knowledge. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and ADP Online systems is required.

• Demonstrated experience in managing payroll processes.

• Ability to handle payroll garnishments accurately and discreetly.

• Experience in processing payroll is essential.

• Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.

• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Good interpersonal skills to interact with staff and management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
