The Substance Abuse & Recovery Navigator’s role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, advocating for their patients, coordinating appointments and follow-up, and assisting to remove any barriers to wellness and recovery through outreach, education, and connections to care for substance use disorder.
Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field - Required Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills Certifications: Certification in addiction from nationally recognized certification board – Preferred Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure – Required if degree is in Nursing Drag Edit Delete
