Job Description:

University of Florida Performing Arts is looking for a part-time skilled event security crew.
Facility and Event Security as assigned, to include:
Customer Service – Security Crew will be polite, professional, helpful, and offer proactive problem-solving with customers.
Incident response per UFPA venue training.
Preparation and distribution of Shift Instructions, Post Orders, and other documentation per Supervisor and Security Policy.
Preparation and distribution of security credentials.
Maintenance of Daily Rosters, and Shift Logs.
Facility safety and security patrols.
Facility Inspections.
Access control for Facilities, Venues, and Events.
Door access control – locks, combination-keys, cards.
Weapons detection scanning using Evolv scanners; scanning and inspections for prohibited items.
Crowd management.
Artist escort.
Following instructions and policies per Supervisor and Policies.
Qualified applicants will be considered for Security Supervisor and Security Coordinator positions.
Advertised Salary:
$14.00 to $20.00 commensurate with experience
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year experience in crowd management and event security
Certification in First-Aid and CPR
