DC Administrative and Recruiting Coordinator
M-F, 8am - 4:30pm
Full time – works on site at Ferguson’s DC in Front Royal, VA
The DC Administrative and Recruiting Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Ferguson's largest regional distribution center located in Front Royal with administrative and recruitment processes and ensuring a positive customer, associate, candidate and new hire experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers
Post job openings on various platforms and monitor applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate qualifications
Assist in the coordination of job fairs, recruitment events and recruitment promotional items such as banners and signs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS and tracking sheets
Collaborate with HR Manager and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements
Conduct and coordinate regular new hire onboarding and orientations
Coordinate with safety, operations, and training regarding integrating new hires
Provide administrative support to the DC and sr. leaders
Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports using Excel, Word, Workday, Indeed, and/or Power Point applications
Maintains the communication boards and displays
Processes badges and replacement requests
Handles various customer service inquiries from branches and direct customers
Coordinate resolution of customer service issues in a timely manner
Coordinate tours of the DC
Responsible for maintaining lockers and assignments
Plans and coordinates monthly associate appreciation events as well as special events and holiday events
Ordering of office and work supplies, uniforms, and some services
Handles the front office facilities and supplies
Serves as reception for visitors and guests to the facility
Process outgoing mail, inbound mail distribution and deliveries
Maintain accurate electronic records and physical files
Assist associates with requests and problem resolution as needed
Direct incoming phone calls to appropriate party and handle inquiries
Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations as needed
Assist with other responsibilities as advised
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Minimum 2 years office administration experience
Minimum 2 years experience recruiting for non-exempt positions
Recruiting in a logistics or distribution environment strongly preferred
Intermediate+ ability with MS Office applications, Outlook, Indeed and HRIS
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with HRIS and recruitment software such as Workday is a plus
Strong relationship management skills to engage with candidates and internal stakeholders
Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
Experience in conducting interviews and assessing candidate suitability
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in duties
Proven professional skills, highly organized and self-motivated

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
