Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Safety Health & Environmental (SHE) Specialist to join their team. As a SHE Specialist, you will be part of the Safety Health & Environmental department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Safety Health & Environmental (SHE) Specialist

Location: Fremont, MI (On-Site)

What's the Job?

  • Provide support to the Safety Health & Environmental Manager with the implementation and coordination of programs and projects related to Safety Health & Environment.

  • Conduct chemical reviews and support system migration.

  • Perform hazard evaluations and risk assessments for job tasks and equipment.

  • Support document management system migration and machine guarding assessments.

  • Develop and update safety training content.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or a related field is preferred.

  • 2 - 5+ years of experience in successfully implementing Safety, Health, and Environmental activities in a manufacturing setting or related experience.

  • General knowledge of plant operations including production, maintenance, and warehouse.

  • Understanding of the safe operation and environmental impacts of equipment and processes.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
