ManpowerGroup Quality Specialist in Fremont, Michigan
Our client is seeking a Quality Specialist to join their team. As a quality Specialist, you will support the Category Mastership strategy by ensuring that our internal documents provide valuable guidance for the Client’s Product Technology Centre Fremont.
Job Title: Quality Specialist
Location: Fremont MI 49412
Work type: Contract on W2 for a duration of 10+ months (Possibility for extensions)
A Day in the Life of Quality Specialist
• Supports the local NDC Quality Team, which may include:
• Support in development of local HACCPs and quality requirements.
• Support in Raw Material Risk Assessment updates
• Follows and upholds all Clients & applicable regulatory requirements to assure full compliance and audit readiness.
• Other duties as assigned.
What will make you successful
• Bachelor’s degree in food science or equivalent (Microbiology, Engineering)
• 2-3 years’ experience in Operations in food industry
• Developed HACCP knowledge
• HACCP/PCQI Certification required
• Developed ability to communicate efficiently internally and externally
• Strong investigation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• High level of detail accuracy
• Fluent in English
• Experience in project management with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals within a given timeline
