Robert Half Account Manager in Frankfort, Illinois

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Account Manager in the Chemicals Manufacturing industry based in Frankfort, Illinois. The role will primarily involve overseeing customer service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and aiding in the achievement of the company's set goals for revenue, profit, receivables, on-time and fill-rate, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the single-point-of-contact for assigned customers to ensure their needs and expectations are met.

• Enter and process customer orders with high accuracy and ensure they are shipped on time.

• Create, maintain, and update customer information in the SAP system, including addresses, contacts, terms, shipping requirements, regions, salespeople, etc.

• Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers within a reasonable timeframe.

• Assist in executing new or changes to existing Sales and Marketing programs through our customers, Sales, and Operations.

• Work closely with Sales representatives and other team members on various projects.

• Provide full desk coverage and assist other team members with their workload when they are out of the office.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by following through with customer requests to completion.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry tasks, avoiding errors.

• Participate in various projects as presented by management or team members. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Account Management.

• Proficiency in managing client relationships within the Chemicals Manufacturing industry.

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and close agreements with clients.

• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.

• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box to find solutions.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to travel as necessary to meet client needs and develop business relationships.

• Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office Suite.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
