Pay-$20/hr & $0.67/mile
Shift-Monday-Saturday 5pm-11pm
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The TPA position is to provide support to our drivers, Lab Ops, Sales, and CS during operational hours. Utilize skills and available tools to facilitate reliable and flexible deliveries to labs. Track and communicate in and out bound flight schedules and information.
Will be a decision maker when manager and or supervisor are not available.
The t ransportation lead driver will fill the role of a driver when needed. Please review and acknowledge driver job description.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees and directs drivers and floaters on their assigned routes
Manages all in bound and out bound flights for region
Schedule Cyto flights when needed.
Will focus free time in assisting in all area transportation AGL email needs after 6 pm.
Including but not limited to calling vendors for immediate need issues.
Communicate anyadditionalinformation or changes to call-in/stops from clients/CS to drivers.
Assisting drivers with any questions or concerns problem resolution while on route.
Monitor and confirm that all packages have been picked up from clients and delivered properly
Communicate any transportation delays to the lab in a timely manner and use TMS tools to eliminate delays to current environmental constraint standard
Communicate with RTM on all issues that arise during a route
Responsible for compliance with all TMS/AGL processes including and not limited to: Driver check ins, delays, float driver use management, blind and proximity management, audits, verification counts
PM and Weekend management of AGL Emails/Incidents (manage all locations inbound urgent needs, ensure monitoring and distribution of that days incidents still open).
Assist in other duties relevant to transportation services.
Coordinate with Supervisor tracking Antech vehicles that need maintenance take vehicles to for repaired and maintenance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Must have at least 36 months of driving experience as evidenced by a currentMotor Vehicle Report (“ MVR ”)
Ability to effectively multi-task, while showing superior follow through on any problem cases they might face throughout the day.

Familiarity with logisticssoftware (A plus but not required)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Able to lift up to 25 pounds; may occasionally need to lift 40 pounds; carrying up to 15 pounds for several minutes at a time

WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Laboratory environment with potential biohazards present
Works under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment.
Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
Potential for exposure to agents known to cause zoonotic disease in humans and use of potentially hazardous chemicals as defined by the National Hazard Communication Standards. A complete list of such chemicals is available from department supervision.
