Baylor Scott & White Health Transplant Surgeon in Fort Worth, Texas

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship trained Transplant Surgeon at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth.

We offer liver, kidney, pancreas, uterus and auto islet transplantation. With nearly 11,000 solid organ transplants, we have established a reputation for excellence and innovation in patient care and research. We are proud to participate in more than 60 research protocols and have trained more than 50 transplant surgeons who are now operating worldwide.

Our surgeons provide transplant services at two locations, Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center - Fort Worth, and Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Join a large established group that includes Transplant surgeons and Hepatobiliary Surgeons

  • The position has the potential to include a Medical Directorship for Transplant program in Fort Worth

  • Ideal candidate would include previous leadership experience.

  • Strong interest and desire to continue to grow the hepatobiliary as well as transplant volume

  • Transplant programs: Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, and Uterine transplant.

  • Da Vinci Robot available

  • Candidates must have a strong interest in Hepatobiliary as primary focus with Transplant secondary to their practice

Qualifications

· Doctorate Degree in Medicine

· Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

· Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialist
