Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 2 years minimum experience in the Aerospace Industry
- 2 years minimum experience in purchasing, quality control, or document control
- Experience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma
- Must have above average written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build sustainable supplier relationships
- Ability to maintain high level of professionalism
- Advanced computer skills
- Self-motivated and well organized
- Able to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 75% of the workday
Job Description:
Inspect
- Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Document inspection results by completing receiving inspection reports
- Perform inspections and evaluations of supplier Certificates of Conformance (COC)
- Scan and maintain electronic database of suppler COC's
- Resolve product and/or COC nonconformances with suppliers over the phone, in person and/or via email
Quality
- Initiatenonconformances for failed inspections
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Provide feedback to supervisor pertaining to inspection and COC issues
