Lockheed Martin Network Systems Engineer (Level 2) in Fort Worth, Texas

The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program) is looking for world class talent in Mission Controls Systems to be a part of a team that will carry on our 70 year legacy of making history in advanced aircraft development.

As part of the Mission Controls Systems team, the selected candidate will help design, develop, integrate and test a variety of ground based networking equipment. The candidate will be expected to performs hands-on installation and configuration of network switches, routers, firewalls, gateways and similar networking components.

Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require the ability to obtain a TS SCI Clearance; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

- Ability to obtain Top Secret SCI Clearance

Understanding of OSI or TCP/IP models

- OSI Layer 2 knowledge: VLANs, ARP, CDP, and trunking

- OSI Layer 3 knowledge: IP addressing and IP routing concepts

- Certification: Cisco CCST Networking or CompTIA Network+

Desired Skills:

- Current Cisco CCNA and CompTIA Security+ certifications, or ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+ or higher) within 90-days of start date

- Juniper Firewall Experience

- Ability to troubleshoot network outages and restore network functionality.

- 1-3 years of experience configuring network infrastructure

- Experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, and Cisco Call Manager.

- Experience with Network Access Control (Cisco ISE, TACACS/Radius, 802.1x, AAA)

- Experience with voice technologies such as VoIP and VTC.

- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting LAN and WAN connections.

- Experience with encryption devices and COMSEC.

- Current Cisco CCNA and CompTIA Security+ certifications.

- Ability to create network diagrams utilizing Microsoft Visio.

- Hands-on experience implementing configurations using CLI on Cisco switches & routers.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
