Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry for a diligent and meticulous Controller. The role is based in FORT WORTH, Texas, and involves overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial statements for multiple entities. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present financial statements for multiple entities

• Record, analyze, and present Profit & Loss statements for accuracy, conduct research on fluctuations and provide flux analysis

• Manage the WIP schedule for the manufacturing entity and work closely with operations management to close and present monthly financials

• Incorporate newly acquired entities into the ERP system, establish accounting processes and procedures to produce accurate and timely financial statements

• Supervise all areas of accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, managing a team of seven

• Monitor daily cash balances and manage all aspects of cash management

• Oversee payroll processing, employee benefits, and company insurance requirements

• Utilize skills in Month End Close, Year End Closings, Financial Statement Preparation, Flux Analysis, WIP - Work In Progress, Epicor, Cash Management, and Risk Management.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a Controller role within the wholesale distribution and/or manufacturing industry preferred.

• Proficiency in Month End Close and Year End Closings is required.

• Expertise in Financial Statement Preparation is a must.

• Experience in Flux Analysis is necessary.

• Knowledge of WIP - Work In Progress is preferred.

• Experience in Cash Management is needed.

• Adept in Risk Management and managing HR preferred
