Do it Best Corp. Systems Administrator in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Systems Administrator Division / Department: IT Technology SecOps Reports to: Manager of Systems Administration Travel: Minimal travel may be required according to business need This Systems Administrator provides basic and advanced software support on corporately owned systems. This position provides setup, configuration, monitoring, and remediation of reported problems including diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support. Responsibilities:

  • Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.

  • Provision\rebuild end point devices for end users in addition to peripherals and productivity software.

  • Maintain software licenses for end user productivity applications.

  • Provide technical support to Do it Best staff.

  • Provide other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.

  • Assist with training of end users on proper use of equipment and productivity software.

  • Assist with providing “how-to” documentation.

  • Contribute to and maintain system standards.

  • Administrative responsibilities in support of the telecommunications platform.

  • Maintain accountability of all support work performed through a ticketing system.

  • Assist with projects as needed (i.e. Market equipment preparation, In House training, etc).

  • Maintain end user access to internal and external systems.

Education and Experience

  • Required: Tech courses / certifications / training 1-3 yrs experience

  • Preferred: Associates degree and/or equivalent experience with technical troubleshooting

    Skills and Abilities

  • Complex Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

  • Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

  • Communication – written and oral communication skills.
