The

Executive Director of Career Development Center

will be a bold thinker who will provide strategic vision and strengthen a campus environment that weaves together the interplay of academics, student employment and career development. The pay for this position is $94,200.00-$98,000.00.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Executive Director reports to the Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management and the Student Experience.

Ability to drive the strategic, innovative long-term vision for the work across campus and community.

Works with educators and campus faculty in a collaborative, interactive approach to coordinating the career pipeline for our students and graduates.

Work extensively in the community to grow and develop our career to employer pipeline aimed to expand the universitys impact on workforce development in our Indiana markets and beyond.

Able to lead and supervise a team of like-minded professionals in strategically planning the career readiness support, programming, and resources for students, graduates, and alumni.

Demonstrated ability to connect and build relationships, and with great networking talents that build long-lasting employer relationships.

Experienced in goal-setting and strategic planning aptitude.

Exceptional communication skills (written, oral, presentation), critical thinking skills, and strong analytical skills.

Ability to embrace change and to organize and effectively manage multiple priorities, programs, and projects in a fast paced, changing university environment.

Proven track record of successfully growing initiatives.

Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a multi-faceted student environment.

Able to work with a variety of sectors including business, labor, government, education, and the community.

Required Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Business, Public Administration, Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related field.

8-9 years of experience leading career initiatives with excellent business acumen, workforce development insight, and knowledge of professional recruitment or equivalent experience in community workforce development, higher education, human resources, or career center.

5 years of experience supervising teams, capable of inspiring and motivating a team member.
