Title: Sales Service Manager
Requirements: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting and 5 years of financial experience in the steel manufacturing industry. Must have steel industry experience in: Directing budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency. Formulating policies, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources. Hiring and developing staff. Driving continuous improvement in safety, profitability, and teammate growth and development. Travel up to 30-40% to customer and construction jobsites, operation facilities, and corporate meetings within the US as needed.
Job Duties: Apply financial experience within and understanding of the steel manufacturing industry to plan, direct, and coordinate operations of the Vulcraft-Vecro Group and Nucor enterprise strategies. Execute strategic company initiatives by leading the divisions post-sale commercial efforts. Formulate policies, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources. Manage the Sales Service division and product group in the development and execution the necessary strategies and tactics to drive continuous improvement in safety, profitability, and teammate growth and development. Manage risk and maintain appropriate controls. Plan and delegate strategic goals to the team. Perform inventory counting/management for production standards. Direct administrative activities directly related to long-term strategic post-sales initiatives. Direct budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency. Establish or implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures in conjunction with board members, organization officials, or staff members. Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Perform personnel functions including hiring, training, developing and valuations of staff. Plan sales promotions, that require coordination with other department managers. Set prices or credit terms for goods or services, based on forecasts of customer demand. Develop product-marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns or sales promotions. Implement or oversee environmental management or sustainability programs addressing issues such as recycling, conservation, or waste management. Travel up to 30-40% to customer and construction jobsites, operation facilities, and corporate meetings within the US as needed.
