POSITION: Human Resources Coordinator
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong detail-orientation and organizational skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
Excellent customer service orientation
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred qualifications
Associate's degree
One or more years of experience in human resources, training, and/organizational development setting
Business and/or technical writing experience
Training/certification in secretarial and/or office administrative procedures
Experience with HR applicant tracking systems
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
WAGE: $19-$22/hr.
DAYS AND HOURS: This is a non-exempt position that mainly works Monday through Friday, 8am to 5
DUTIES: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for aiding in the daily operational support for the HR Department. Responsibilities include acting as the HR receptionist, answering main HR phone line, assisting with new employee onboarding and orientation, maintaining confidential employee records, and administering employee phone program.
Role and Responsibilities Administer Viaero Employee Phone Program including Employee Purchase Program Assist with processing paperwork and obtaining necessary materials/office set-up for new hires and takes primary responsibility for the same tasks for temp employees/contractors Assist with all pre-hire checks (pre-employment drug screens, criminal background checks, licenses/certifications) Orient new employees, including performing e-verify/I-9 processing Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, files and electronic files Process, coordinate and track supply orders, invoices, purchase orders and check requests Perform clerical duties, such as mailing, faxing, copying, as needed Maintain Viaero employee personnel files to required standards Assist with the maintenance and update of selected HR databases and tools Assist with the development and production of designated queries, surveys, data collection and reports with selected HR reporting tools Complete selected HR-related transactions Participate in selected HR/Viaero projects and teams
