Science Systems and Applications, Inc. Software Engineer in Fort Meade, Maryland

SSAI seeks a Reverse Engineer to support a program located in Annapolis Junction, MD. The candidate will dissect iOS applications to extract valuable insights, improve security measures, and ensure compliance with best practices.

Additional responsibilities include the following:

  • Proven experience in reverse engineering iOS applications.

  • Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.

  • Strong understanding of iOS architecture, including the iOS runtime, memory management, and system APIs.

  • Experience with reverse engineering tools such as Ghidra and IDA Pro.

  • Knowledge of assembly language and programming.

  • Familiarity with iOS security features and mechanisms.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Reverse engineer iOS applications to understand their architecture, code structure, and functionality.

  • Identify security vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Analyze third-party libraries and frameworks used within iOS applications.

  • Develop tools and scripts to automate reverse engineering tasks.

  • Collaborate with the security team to conduct penetration testing and threat analysis.

  • Document findings and provide detailed technical reports.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity/CNO – specific development.

  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer or a related discipline.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph required.
