Army Installation Management Command Administrative Assistant NF-02 in Fort McCoy, Wisconsin

Summary This position is located at Fort McCoy, WI. Responsibilities Performs a variety of clerical and administrative functions in support of the organization. Maintain confidentiality of information exposed in position. Communicates in a professional manner both verbally and in writing. Receives phone calls and visitors. Answers routine inquiries or refers to appropriate staff members. Greets and fosters positive interactions with internal and external customers. Provides administrative support including typing, mail preparation, copying, and distribution. Uses automation equipment to prepare a variety of correspondence, memorandums, briefings and other reports required for day-to-day operation. Receives and prepares telephonic, verbal and written work order requests for phone and facility related issues and forwards for appropriate action. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume Basic computer skills, and clerical or administrative work experience which indicates the ability to perform the duties described above Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Power Point, Excel, and other software as required. Must be able to type 40 wpm. Knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation and composition techniques needed to accurately type a variety of material from written sources or voice recordings. Possess the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Highly Preferred criteria: All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit. Experience providing administrative support services to various levels of management. 2 years work experience with Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, word, ETC.)
