salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records

  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments

  • Assist with payroll management, including processing employee expense reports and ensuring compliance with company policies

  • Prepares financial statements to summarize and forecast the company's financial status.

  • Manages balance sheets and analyze future earnings and expenses.

  • Assists with management of accounting, auditing and budgeting within the organization.

  • Assists with preparations for audits.

  • Works to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances.

  • Ensures compliance with and prepare reports according to applicable government regulation

  • Uses accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports

  • Delegates accounting tasks to junior accounting staff

  • Coordinates with and prepares reports for CFO and upper management.

  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Skills

  • Excel Macros (2 years of experience is required)

  • Excel Pivot Tables (2 years of experience is required)

  • Bank Reconciliations (4 years of experience is required)

  • Financial Statements (3 years of experience is required)
