Senior FDOT Scheduler
Position Overview:
KEITH is seeking an experienced Senior FDOT Scheduler to join our team onsite at the FDOT District Four Office. This position will play a critical role in providing project scheduling support for a variety of transportation projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of FDOT pre-construction processes and scheduling best practices to support FDOT Project Managers, Program Services, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain transportation project schedules for planning, design, right-of-way, and construction activities in compliance with FDOT standards.
Assist the Program Services section with the administration and oversight of project schedules for District Four.
Serve as a primary point of contact for scheduling assignments and provide expert support to FDOT Project Managers.
Generate and maintain monthly production reports to support transportation projections.
Attend project schedule discovery and coordination meetings.
Define project schedule tasks, create new schedules, and customize project templates as needed.
Perform schedule analysis, trending, and reporting functions, providing recommendations for process improvements.
Utilize independent judgment to determine resources, approaches, and methodologies for completing assigned tasks.
Complete other tasks as assigned by the FDOT Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of scheduling experience, with a strong background in FDOT project schedules and pre-construction activities.
In-depth knowledge of logical relationships between pre-construction activities and transportation project timelines.
Proven ability to independently resolve schedule issues and provide proactive solutions.
Experience creating and managing reports, project templates, and trending analyses.
Skills & Competencies:
Advanced user of Primavera scheduling software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with FDOT staff, project teams, and stakeholders.
