Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage: Supervise the team in the shipping department, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Inbound and Outbound Orders: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of all products, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement logistics plans and schedules to optimize delivery timelines and costs.
Team Coordination: Work collaboratively with the operations team to align logistics strategies with overall company objectives.
Delegation: Assign tasks and responsibilities effectively within the team to meet operational goals.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the logistics process and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Reporting: Prepare and analyze logistics reports to monitor performance and identify trends.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of four years experience in a logistics management role, with a proven track record of leading a team in a similar capacity.
Skills: Leadership, organizational, and planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics software and tools. Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Availability: Must be able to work 100% onsite during the designated hours.
